During my stay, I particularly enjoyed the exceptional service from the staff. David at the front desk was confident and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and assisting with a room upgrade. The room itself was clean and cozy, with stunning views of the pool, ocean, and mountains. The poolside experience was a highlight, with Ahmed, Omar, and Sivanna providing attentive and knowledgeable service. Their attention to detail and proactive approach made my time by the pool truly relaxing. Overall, the staff's professionalism and the beautiful setting made my stay very enjoyable.

Snorkelling around Snoopy Island (once the thick algae cleared) was sensational. So many turtles and also a group of black tip reef sharks along with all the usual traffic (Parrot fish, Trigger fish, clown fish, puffer fish etc.). Would love to come here more often (and stay at Sandy Beach Hotel!).

This area does not have walking areas and is more suitable only for relaxing inside the hotel. But a remarkable and distinctive feature of this area is its long promenade of several kilometers, which is suitable for long walks along the sea along the sand. Al Aqah is a small town, and worth traveling by road from the big cities. The drive through the desert and then through the mountains (literally at some spots - through the new tunnels) is enjoyable and not tiring at all. The city itself is small, however with all basic emergency services for visitors to feel secure. Hearing crows in the morning was a wonderful surprise. Buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. Should have added some more vegetarian dishes.
